Cancellations

How much does it Cost to Cancel?

There is a 10 minute grace period right after you book in case you need to cancel (so long as your reservation hasn’t started yet). Cancellations are also free if you cancel your reservation 24 hour before the start of the reservation. You can easily cancel your reservation from www.uk.pingpod.com/now (the ping pong paddle icon) through the “Cancel Reservation” button.  After that, there is a minimal charge of $5/hour of reserved time up to 4 hours before your reservation. If you cancel within 4 hours you will be charged $5/hour of reserved time less than what your reservation would have been.

Cancellation fee Summary:

  • 10 minute grace period after booking: Free
  • 24+ hours in advance: Free
  • 24 hours to 4 hours in advance: $5/hour of reserved time
  • 4 hours and less: Original reservation cost minus $5/hour rebate

Why is there a charge for last-minute cancellations?

The reason for a charge for “last minute” cancellations is that it most likely prevented another player from booking that slot. Cancelation fees incentivize people to cancel as early as possible so that other customers have ample opportunity to book that slot.

Can I Cancel?

Yes, if you cancel 24 hours or more in advance of your booking there is no charge. For cancellation details see here.
